The Wonderful Dogs in Mom's Life
When mom was growing up, she had the privilege of meeting and loving so many dogs who became her friends and she wanted to share these wonderful dogs with you.
Since she doesn't have pictures of them, they will have celebrity look alike DWB pictures who most resemble them...Mom would really be grateful if you dropped by and visited their sites to say a BIG hello to a new friend:) Obviously Mitch and Shelly need no introduction!

These precious animals came in and out of mom's life and fostered her love for dogs and animals, no matter how small or big. She would always be bringing injured birds home to take care of them or cats or strays. Her papa, who loved animals just as much as she did, would help her nurse them back to health if they could.
I just knew the moment my mom walked into the animal shelter that she would be the one to take care of me.

Woooooow, your mommy sure had a lot of dogs throughout her life. My hoomans & mommy only had their first dog last year & that dog is ME! Hehehehe... Throughout their lives especially mommy's, they only owned cats & I mean a LOT of stinking cats! But now they've finally got me! I'm sooo happy!

From mom:
These animals were one I had the privilege of meeting and becoming friends with.
Mitzi and Topsy lived with the woman who rented her duplex from us and she lived upstairs from us so they were my first doggie friends.
Pepsi was my best friend's dog.
Chubbs was my cousins' dog.
Hemish was a dog I met on my way to school and I played with him in the morning, at noon when I'd come home from lunch and after school. He knew I'd be coming and would look for me.
LuLu was my mother's friend's dog so everytime I went to visit with my mother, I had the pleasure of walking LuLu and playing with her.
Fred was an adorable bulldog who lived next door to us. He looked fierce but he was truly a great big pussycat.
Tyler was another friend's dog.
So these were all dogs I met and loved throughout my childhood and growing up.
There was also Timmy who was my other neighbour's cat...I didn't mention him because I didn't want you to think I had gone over to the "other side" haha!

I too, always knew, my Mum, Jeannie would choose me when she came to the Rescue Centre!

well billy, i know some dog misunderstand your post. lol
mom loves airedale the first time she lays her eyes on bogart the handsome devil. unfortunately, there isn't an airedale here. not even a wired fox terrier.
but she wouldn't mind adopting a dog from the shelter tho.

Hey Billy, it's nice of your Mum to remember all her old dog pals. J1 used to live near a welsh terrier when she was a kid and that made her want to get a dog when she grew up. She comes from a strict cat only background. Now she's changed sides! J x
